When you have MFA active you may find specific Software's are not able to login successfully without being able to use an App password.
Some apps such as Outlook, Skype for Business will require these App Passwords to be able to Bypass the MFA authentication.
These can be created by following the steps below:
Navigate to the site " Myapps.Microsoft.com" and sign in with your MFA enabled Office 365 account
Once signed in you will be faced with a similar looking page below:
Select your Name in the top right and from the drop down, select "Profile"
Once on Profile select "Manage Additional Security Verification" and you will find yourself on the page below:
Select the Red highlighted option shown above " App Passwords"
From here select the option "create" as shown below:
You will then be able to name your App password a relevant item e.g "Outlook" or "Skype"
You will be presented with a Long string digit code.
This is App Password to be used, Copy this to your Clipboard and use this as required.
DO NOT GIVE OUT YOUR APP PASSWORD TO ANYONE ELSE.
